Shelter-in-place order lifted following ammonia leak in Lancaster

A shelter-in-place order that was in effect for almost eight hours on Sunday has been lifted in Lancaster County after residents were warned of an ammonia leak at Kunzler Meat Company. During a live video update, HazMat 2 Environmental Fire Rescue Chief Ben Herskowitz said the shelter-in-place order was lifted at 2:30 p.m. The order was issued around 7:30 a.m. for a half-mile southwest around the Kunzler Meat Company facility on Manor Street.
