A New Jersey man has been charged with throwing smoke bombs and attempted to pepper spray a crowd leaving an Asbury Park church’s anti-racism concert in January as he shouted “white lives matter, too,” authorities announced on Monday. Nicholas G. Mucci, 28, of Toms River, faces second-degree charges of risking widespread injury or damage and possession of a weapon along with third-degree offenses including arson, aggravated assault and terroristic threats.
