A house in Chester that sold for $40,000 tops the list of the most affordable real estate sales in Hampden County between Feb. 26 and Mar. 5.

In total, 54 real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $270,193, $186 per square foot.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Feb. 26., even if the property may have been sold earlier.
