Nearly 2,500 households without electricity in Lapeer County this morning - The County Press

LAPEER COUNTY — Nearly 2,500 Lapeer County residents are without electricity this morning following a night of light drizzle that coated tree limbs and electric lines, causing branches to fall across power lines. There are pockets of outages across the county, primarily in central and northern sections including about 670 households in Deerfield and Mayfield townships. Many of those DTE Energy customers lost power around 6 p.m. last evening. There also about 400 households in the dark northeast of Otter Lake in Marathon Township. They lost power around 10 p.m....
