A potent winter storm expected to dump 2 to 8 inches of snow through much of northern New Jersey has led school districts to announce closures and delayed openings for Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023. The highest snowfall amounts of 6 to 8 inches are expected in Sussex County along with parts of Warren, Morris, Passaic and Bergen counties.
