Suspect charged with hate crimes in shootings of 2 Jewish men in L.A.
A 28-year-old man arrested in connection with the shootings of two Jewish men outside synagogues in Los Angeles this week was charged Friday with federal hate crimes, authorities said. The U.S. Attorney's Office announced that Jaime Tran faces two counts of committing hate crimes for the two shootings, which occurred in the morning hours on Wednesday and Thursday.
