Michigan House, Senate Republicans pushing DeSantis to run for president in 2024

More than a dozen of Michigan’s House and Senate Republicans say they stand “ready and willing” to help Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis win Michigan should he run for president in 2024. That’s according to a letter hand-delivered to the Republican governor in mid-December by Michigan House floor leader, Rep. Bryan Posthumus, R-Cannon Township. News of the letter was first reported by Politico, though MLive later also obtained excerpts from the document.
