Man arrested after entering New York Times building with a sword and ax

A man who entered the New York Times building armed with a sword and ax was arrested on Thursday after he demanded to speak with someone in the politics section, police said.

A New York City Police Department spokesman told the Washington Examiner that the man entered the building with a sword and ax and asked to "speak with someone in the politics section." Security denied him, and he handed over his weapons when asked without incident. He was taken by police to Roosevelt Hospital, where he is being evaluated.
