President Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping jointly voiced opposition to any use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine and agreed to restore regular communication across a range of issues, from climate change to food security, signaling an effort to stabilize relations between the two powers after a downward spiral in recent months raised concerns of a new Cold War.
