Trump says he ‘declined to answer' questions during NY AG deposition

Former President Donald Trump declared in a lengthy statement that he "declined to answer" questions during his deposition before New York Attorney General Letitia James's office Wednesday.
Trump argued that he was the target of "an unfounded, politically motivated Witch Hunt" and that James "openly campaigned on the policy of 'Get and Destroy Trump.'" James has been conducting a civil inquiry into whether the Trump Organization improperly manipulated asset valuations for tax and business benefits.
