On Facebook, right-leaning pages celebrating the end of Roe v. Wade overshadowed posts about the decision's consequence

After the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade along ideological lines, right-leaning Facebook pages immediately started celebrating the decision. In a new study, Media Matters found that these pages earned nearly 7.7 million interactions on roughly 2,400 posts on June 24, the day the decision was announced, earning more interactions than left-leaning and ideologically nonaligned pages combined. 

We found similar celebrations among users in right-wing groups, who also called for more restrictive laws, claimed there would be riots from the left in response to the decision, and mocked liberals and media...
