AG Garland, in Surprise Ukraine Visit, Vows U.S. Will Help Prosecute War Crimes

Attorney General Merrick Garland, in an unannounced visit to Ukraine, reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to help the war-torn nation identify, apprehend, and prosecute those involved in "war crimes" and "atrocities."
In a video tweeted out by Anthony Coley, spokesman for the Justice Department, Garland said: "I'm here to express the unwavering support of the United States for the people of Ukraine in the midst of the unprovoked and unjust Russian invasion.
