Suspected teenage gunman kills 14 children in Texas elementary school

An 18-year-old gunman opened fire in a Uvalde, Texas, elementary school on Tuesday, killing 14 children and one teacher, said Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
The governor said the shooter, Salvador Ramos, was killed by police. Two officers suffered minor injuries in an exchange of gunfire.
The gunman shot and killed his grandmother earlier in the day, according to reports, bringing the preliminary death toll to 16.
According to Mr. Abbot, the shooter entered Robb Elementary School with a handgun and possibly a rifle, and began firing.
