Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) says the nation's crime problem "has spiraled out of control" while Democrats, including the Biden administration, "continue to team up and find new ways to go soft on crime."

McConnell pointed to the confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as part of a "deliberate effort by Democrats to make the federal judiciary softer on crime.
