Stanicki announces run for House District 38

In a statement released March 30, Democrat Robyn Stanicki, announced her candidacy for House District 38 in the Maine Legislature. The new district, created by last year’s redistricting, will represent Brooks, part of Frankfort, Jackson, Knox, Monroe, Swanville, Thorndike, Unity and Waldo.

According to the statement, Stanicki has worked as an administrator for public and nonprofit organizations that support rural communities for nearly 20 years. Currently, she is a planner with Kennebec Valley Council of Governments, a nonprofit that serves western Waldo County with economic development and planning.
