Russia launched a wide-ranging attack on Ukraine on Thursday.

President Joe Biden will lay out the U.S. plan to hold Russia accountable for the aggression.

“Russia alone is responsible for the death and destruction this attack will bring, and the United States and its allies and partners will respond in a united and decisive way,” Biden said in a statement late Wednesday after Putin announced a military operation in eastern Ukraine.
