'It's a shock': Colorado police ID shooter who killed 5 people in Denver-area shooting spree

Alfredo Cardenas went to his daughter's tattoo shop Tuesday morning and lit a candle to remember her life. Alicia Cardenas, 44, was among the five people killed Monday night after a person opened fire in several locations in the Denver area. 

"It’s a shock," Cardenas told USA TODAY outside the Sol Tribe tattoo shop on Broadway. 

Cardenas, Danny Schofield, 38, and Sarah Steck, 28, were among the five people killed by the shooter. Police did not release the identities of the other two fatal victims. The shooter, Lyndon James McLeod, 47, was also killed...
