Biden administration releases 'five pillars' of illegal migration mitigation strategy

The Biden administration is releasing a strategy to address what they call the "root causes of migration," as the crisis as the US-Mexico border continues to worsen.

According to the White House, these are the root causes, or what they are calling "five pillars," of illegal migration:

Pillar I:  Addressing economic insecurity and inequality;

Pillar II:  Combating corruption, strengthening democratic governance, and advancing the rule of law;

Pillar III:  Promoting respect for human rights, labor rights, and free press;

Pillar IV:  Countering and preventing violence, extortion, and other crimes perpetrated by...
