South Carolina public school students can go mask-free in class with their parents approval.

Gov. Henry McMaster signed an executive order Tuesday, that allows parents to opt their children out of using the physical protection equipment.

Amid declining COVID-19 cases, and readily available vaccinations to adults, the Republican governor claimed it goes against “all logic” to continue to force children to wear masks against their parent’s wishes.
