Trump pardons sparked controversy but have been the fewest in more than 100 years

President Donald Trump, like many of his predecessors, is using his final days in the White House to increase his use of pardons and commutations, including some that may prove controversial.

Trump has already issued several politically charged clemencies, but the overall number of pardons and commutations he's granted to date pales in comparison to other presidents in the past century.
