Accused Kenosha killer Kyle Rittenhouse won’t face charges over AR-15-style rifle
Teen gunman Kyle Rittenhouse will not face charges in his home state of Illinois over the AR-15-style rifle used during the deadly Kenosha protests in neighboring Wisconsin, prosecutors announced.
A police investigation found that the Smith & Wesson .223-caliber rifle the 17-year-old accused killer used “was purchased, stored and used in Wisconsin,” said Lake County State’s Attorney Mike Nerheim, according to the Chicago Tribune.
