First veteran death due to coronavirus confirmed

Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie announced on Wednesday the first death of a military veteran suffering from coronavirus.
At a White House press conference alongside President Trump, Wilkie told members of the media that the VA had confirmed just over 40 cases of the virus among members of the veteran community, with one death occurring so far.
It was unclear how recently the death occurred, or in which branch the deceased person served. A request for comment from the VA was not immediately returned.
