Trump meets with Irish prime minister amid coronavirus spread

President Trump is hosting Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar at the White House on Thursday to celebrate the ties between the United States and Ireland. The visit comes in the wake of Mr. Trump's decision to impose travel restrictions on Europe due to the global spread of the deadly coronavirus.
The restrictions don't apply to Ireland, or to the United Kingdom.
Varadkar is scheduled to arrive at the White House at 10:45 a.m. ET, followed by a meeting with Mr. Trump in the Oval Office.
