Topline: Democratic 2020 hopeful Mike Bloomberg released extensive financial policy plans that would reverse Trump’s deregulation of Wall St, and which echo plans of his progressive rivals including Senators Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).

The proposals, first reported by the New York Times, are more progressive than Bloomberg’s previous stances and come as he tries to fend off criticism from Democratic rivals about his past ties to big banks and Wall Street.
