Trump picks Texas oncologist Stephen Hahn to lead FDA

The White House said Friday that President Donald Trump plans to nominate Stephen Hahn, a radiation oncologist and the chief medical executive at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, as the new head of the Food and Drug Administration. The move comes after FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb stepped down earlier this year.
