Cubs ban fan who made alleged racist hand gesture: 'He will not be permitted on the grounds of Wrigley Field indefinitely'

The Cubs have banned a man indefinitely from Wrigley Field for making an on-camera hand gesture, which some associate with white supremacists, behind NBC Sports Chicago reporter Doug Glanville during Tuesday’s game against the Marlins.

Glanville, a former Cubs outfielder, is African-American.
The bearded man wearing a Cubs hooded sweatshirt and seated in the front row by the home dugout had not come forward as of Wednesday evening, and the Cubs did not identify him publicly.
