A former investigator for the House Benghazi committee dropped his allegation that the Republican-led panel carried out a politically motivated investigation targeting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton .
Maj. Bradley Podliska stripped all references to Mrs. Clinton in an amended complaint filed last month. The original lawsuit was filed in November.
