Community banks, lenders cast doubt on Obama push to wind down Fannie, Freddie

Community bankers and mortgage lenders across the country warn that if President Obama tries to do away with government-backed mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac altogether the still-fragile U.S. housing industry may never be able to fully bounce back.
