New water conservation measures to affect Lehi residents, businesses

Lehi residents and businesses may have to change the ways they use water or face hefty fines starting next month.

The Lehi City Council adopted new water conservation measures for the summer Tuesday night and the changes go into effect May 11.

According to Lehi officials, the conservation measures only affect the city’s pressurized irrigation system which is mainly used to water lawns.
