One candidate may be dropping out of the Salt Lake City mayoral race Wednesday.
Sen. Jim Dabakis, D-Salt Lake City, wrote on Facebook that he and former Democratic state representative Jackie Biskupski will have a discussion over coffee Wednesday and “decide who carries the banner.”
“After pouring over the numbers for two days, Jackie and I agree that if we are both in the race, we will dilute the progressive voice in Salt Lake City,” Dabakis stated in the Facebook post. “We need to unite. We will unite!”
