Dabakis drops out of Salt Lake City mayoral race

State Sen. Jim Dabakis ended his campaign for Salt Lake City mayor on Wednesday, just 10 days after he launched it. He's now throwing his support behind Jackie Biskupski, a friend who has been in the race since January.

"Jackie is a hell of a persuasive lady! We decided that it would be best for me to leave the race," Dabakis posted on Facebook. "I am endorsing Jackie for mayor. This election is too important to have two progressive candidates fight for votes, dollars and volunteers."...
