Arkansas OKs Indiana-Style Religion Bill

Arkansas’s own Religious Freedom Restoration Act is headed to the governor’s desk after the state house passed it Tuesday afternoon. Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson said he would sign it despite opponents—including Arkansas-based megastore Wal-Mart—who say it’s anti-gay. “Every day, in our stores, we see firsthand the benefits diversity and inclusion have on our associates, customers, and communities we serve,” said Wal-Mart senior communications director Lorenzo Lopez.
