Ky. GOP uses iconic Obama image in latest mailer

The Kentucky Republican Party is using Shepard Fairey’s iconic image of Barack Obama in their latest mailer against Democratic Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes.

The mailer will be sent to several hundred thousand households.

John Ashbrook, a spokesman for Senate Minority Leader McConnell, posted the mailer on Vine, which uses a lenticular image of Fairey’s work with the word “Hope” underneath it. When tilted, the image morphs into Grimes’s face with the word “Nope” underneath it.
