The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s heart is still in Kentucky. And its wallet is not far behind.
A committee official said that it was reserving $650,000 in air time in support of the Senate campaign of Alison Lundergan Grimes. The move comes a week after the group’s expenditure arm had decided not to put up any more television ads in support of Ms. Grimes, the Kentucky secretary of state.
