‘The Dude’ nixes Montana Senate bid

Don’t expect to see actor Jeff Bridges launching a bid for the Senate any time soon.
During an appearance on Howard Stern’s radio program Monday, the actor quelled calls for him to throw his hat in the ring for the Montana Senate seat, which have grown since Sen. John Walsh (D-Mont.) withdrew following a plagiarism scandal.
