NSA Will Send Data-Storage Proposals to White House

The outgoing head of the U.S. National Security Agency said Friday it will send proposals on storing intelligence data externally to the White House in the coming week, and warned of a growing threat of cyberattacks on the nation's energy infrastructure.
It remains unclear where the agency will look to move a database that tracks phone calls and other communications as part of the Obama administration's efforts to overhaul the intelligence community. Telecom operators have voiced reluctance to hosting the data, and privacy advocates are also wary of the data...
