Details

Christiane Amanpour is the Chief International Correspondent for CNN. Amanpour was heavily criticized in the summer of 2016 after an interview with Daniel Hannan for claiming that Brexit was a result of  "white identity and xenophobia." In an opinion column written by Amanpour, she claims, "believe in being truthful, not neutral." However, especially since her interview with Hannan, many say it is clear that Amanpour reports with a left bias, with some going as far as saying that "she’s a walking parody of an unhinged leftist ‘reporter.’" Therefore, the AllSides Bias Rating™ for Christiane Amanpour is lean left. With more research and community feedback, the bias rating of lean left is subject to change.
