Man dies in overnight car fire on Twin Span Bridge, New Orleans police say

A man died in what appeared to be a one-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 Twin Span Bridge early Friday morning, shutting down all eastbound lanes for over an hour, according to the New Orleans Police Department. Officers responded to a call shortly before 1 a.m. about a car on fire on the eastbound lanes of I-10 near Ridgeway Boulevard.
