Driver's medical scare causes crash, sends two people to hospital

SAN ANTONIO - A driver having a potential medical episode sent two people to the hospital Saturday night after a car crashed downtown.

The accident occurred around 10:25 Saturday night near Commerce St and Bowie St.

The driver of a GMC Yukon was leaving the Convention Center parking lot when they suffered a medical condition, potentially a seizure, and crashed into another car, injuring two people.

The victims were taken to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries. The accident is under investigation.
