This majority varies from the initial nearly even number of almost 300 community members who agreed and disagreed with the AllSides Bias Rating™ of Left.

More on ThinkProgress

ThinkProgress operates a number of sections, including climate, economy, health, justice, LGBT, security and culture. Founded in 2005 by current editor Judd Legum, ThinkProgress formerly included a recap and analysis of major political news and a blog titled Wonk Room. Since then, the website was reconfigured into a new format with its current separate blog sections, consolidating other Center for American Progress blogs in the process. Faiz Shakir served as editor from 2007 until 2012 until he left to become Nancy Pelosi’s Director of New Media, prompting Legum to return. One of the blog’s notable sections is Climate Progress, founded by climate scientist Joseph J. Romm, which discusses climate and energy, political news related to climate change, and the media’s coverage of climate change.
